Background and Early Years

John's journey began in 1992 as a Technical Support Analyst at Fontware Ltd. Rapidly advancing through roles like JetForm Product Specialist and Operations Manager, he laid the groundwork for a remarkable career. As Information Technology Manager at Tikit from 2008 to 2019, John excelled in managing internal IT operations, attaining Microsoft Gold Partner status, and shaping GDPR policies. His prowess continued at Tailor Made Technologies, where as Pre Sales Solutions Architect (2021-2023), he contributed to major IT migrations, cloud integrations, and helped companies obtain Cyber Security Essentials Plus certification, showcasing his commitment to innovation and excellence in the IT landscape.

Now, as Senior Technical Consultant at Xperate, John is set to make a significant impact. His focus includes responsibilities for Xperate's internal IT system and providing technical consultancy to clients. Known for being a "Cloud First" evangelist, John encourages the swift and secure adoption of the Microsoft Azure computing platform, promoting agile working in hybrid environments.

Collaboration and Achievements

John's collaborative approach and meticulous planning have been evident throughout his career. From enabling remote work for 200 users during the COVID-19 pandemic to achieving Cyber Security Essentials Plus certification, he consistently ensures the seamless integration of technology to meet business needs.

Outside of Work

Beyond the professional realm, John is a devoted dog lover. In his downtime, he's an avid DIY enthusiast and photography buff. Every year, he takes a well-deserved sailing retreat along the picturesque Pembrokeshire coast, a delightful escape from the everyday hustle.
