Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders: Xperate’s Internship Recruitment Drive

During their final year at university, students in Pune will look to find temporary employment for 6-9 months, and Xperate’s team is always extremely keen to recruit the very best of these students as interns.

This is a great way for students to gain valuable work experience before heading back to their universities to finish their course. However, if the student is particularly talented, Xperate will offer them a permanent placement once they have qualified from university.

Often referred to as the ‘Oxford of the East’, Kolhapur is the third largest IT Hub in India after Bangalore and Hyderabad. Due to our ongoing support of their internship schemes and our success in recruiting students from previous years, Xperate were invited to DKTE's Textile & Engineering Institute and Sharad Institute of Technology College of Engineering - two of Kolhapur’s top universities. In August we held our annual recruitment drive at both prestigious institutions.

We were thrilled by the great interest that Xperate had at both universities. Approximately 250-300 students were in attendance at our recruitment drives and this is a true testament to the outstanding working culture that Xperate have created, along with our growing reputation for nurturing talent.

The event kicks off with a pre-placement talk, where our Talent Acquisition Manager, Sayalee Pawar, presented an insightful company overview. This is followed by an Aptitude Test consisting of two sets of questions. Candidates who excel in the test move on to the second round, which involves a face-to-face technical interview. Those who make it through will proceed to the final round, a combination of technical and HR assessments. These tests are held throughout the day at the colleges. At Xperate, we believe in hiring based on potential, not quotas. We offer an open platform where everyone who takes the test has a fair chance to prove their capabilities.

This year, we were joined by Pranali Sande and Aditya Kulkarni. Pranali, an alumna of DKTE’s Textile & Engineering Institute, and Aditya, an alumnus of the Sharad Institute of Technology College of Engineering, shared their experiences of working at Xperate to inspire the students of their former colleges.

Across both days, a combined total of 9 candidates were offered internships. This reflects our tough recruiting process. Here at Xperate, we only hire the best and brightest talent, and these young candidates have shown great promise and potential. The selected candidates will begin their internships on 2nd December 2024. We look forward to welcoming them to the team and seeing what they can accomplish!

We’d like to thank the Xperate team members who contributed to the recruitment drives. Whether they collaborated with the colleges, delivered motivational speeches, supervised tests, or conducted interviews, their efforts were invaluable.
