Key Responsibilities
The Progress 4GL/OpenEdge Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using Progress 4GL and OpenEdge technologies
- Responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions to enhance and support the organization's software systems
- Programming experience using Progress Appserver and Progress Database
- Maintaining Progress Batch Jobs
- Extensive understanding of Progress Database concepts
- In=depth expertise on Application and Database Design
- Deep knowledge of Progress 4GL/OpenEdge10.2 concepts
- Ability to implement WebServices, XML parsing, ProDataSets etc
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical background, willing to learn new tools and technologies

Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL, CHUI and GUI programming, OpenEdge RDBMS concepts, Object-Oriented ABL and OOPS concepts, JavaScript frameworks |
Desirable Skills |
