Lead Developer/Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating the effort required and the resources needed to deliver projects to the agreed timescales
• Provide technical help and mentor the project team
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and ensuring development standards are being followed
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans
• Track utilisation of resources and monitor schedule
• Participate in code-reviews
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Assist in the documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time
• Assessing areas for improvement the product / project and processes and discuss these with stakeholders
• Participation in regular client calls as required
• Prepare regular project status reports in conjunction with Project Managers as agreed
• Design and code Proof of Concept code for any particularly challenging project requirements.
